While fires rage in large parts of Europe incl UK, farmers face crop failure and livestock loss, every RefUK or Tory politician on the news must be challenged on their "let's do away with costly net zero nonsense" stance, side-by-side with live images of the cost of inaction. Expose the charlatans.

Terrifying to see wildfires raging through Scotland. The climate crisis isn't a distant threat - it's right here and right now. How many warning signs and alarm bells until Andy Burnham takes action to end oil and gas drilling?

I am begging people to understand the reason you pay so much tax is because the richest pay so little. The combined tax dodged by the richest 1% is more than the tax contribution of the bottom 70%. If they paid their tax, you wouldn't have to pay any.

Angela Rayner, "We won’t be looking at rent controls" That’s even more voters Labour will haemorrhage to the Green Party 🇩🇪 Germany : rent caps 🇫🇷 France : rent caps 🇺🇸 USA : rent control in some cities 🇳🇱 Netherlands : maximum rents 🇦🇹 Austria : regulated rents 🇸🇪 Sweden : negotiated rents

There is very little difference between the neoLiberals and the Fascists. They both want the richest to own everything and Governments to be pretend, who do whatever the trillionaires say. The neoLiberals just want to do it with a veneer of niceness on top.

The most interesting thing about Right to Buy is it should have meant Councils had loads of money to build new Council Houses But actually they stopped Because Thatcher blocked Councils from using this money to build houses and cut their budget from Government Because of their increased incomes

I feel the £1B vat cut on energy bills of 14p a day, across a 6 month period, that will benefit people from all income brackets, would be better spent on a Billion pounds worth of solar panels that would produce energy for 25+ years.

14.1 million people in the UK are experiencing food insecurity. Our message to the new Prime Minister, Andy Burnham, is simple: Food is a human right. It’s time to protect it in UK law. Join us in calling on Andy Burnham to ensure everyone has access to food👇🏾 www.amnesty.org.uk/get-involved...

Prime Minister: Protect the right to food in UK law

Call on the new Prime Minister to introduce a Right to Food Bill so that all governments now and in the future have a duty to make food affordable and accessible to all.
