I do think I have a prophetic vision about the earth but who’s going to listen to a clown…..

Some days, walking up that hill feels like a doddle. Today was not one of those days. But it's all the more rewarding for it. Still beige and parched dry up here. I plan to branch off and make it over to the Wedgewood Monument some time this week.

Took a selfie the other day with Valerie and it's only afterwards that I realised she had a hedgehog down her top. Not an actual, living hedgehog. That would be......fucking. weird. But even now, I still don't know why she had a hedgehog there. Still, they looked happy enough 😊

Selfie with Valerie.
Me, wearing a black polo shirt and Val wearing a purple top with a hedgehog sticking out of her cleavage. Lucky old hedgehog, I say.

Friend of mine made this AI image of me. It's to represent my 'smiley, positive nature', which of course, is lovely. Very nice of them. However, I can't help thinking I look a bit like a cross between a demented Jurgen Klopp and psychotic Andy Burnham.

Dating back to pagan times, August 1st is Lammas Day ("Loaf Mass"), where we celebrate the first harvest festival of the year. Traditionally, the Lammas loaf is made from the first wheat harvest, taken to church and shared as an offering for the bountiful harvest to come. #Folklore #LammasDay

Back in olden days, ancient woodlands were a natural environment in which our distant forefathers would communicate and express themselves, often demonstrating high levels of intelligence, as witnessed here with one of the earliest known examples of a woodland cock and balls.

Nice morning walk......bloody hell, it's dry out there 😯 And yes, I did change from a black to a blue top due to a rogue white Greek yoghurt stain on the bottom of the black one that made it look as if I'd been "up to something unmentionable". Which I hadn't.

I always enjoy discovering a new pub for a weekend stay and The King's Head in Wellesbourne was no exception. Had a lovely stay - nice room, great food and a good vibe to the place. Will definitely be back!
