Tradespeople... gah! New carpet fitted, they managed to badly scratch the newly painted skirting and also broke the base of the wardrobe. I only discovered the damage to the wardrobe after they'd gone. Also additional cost to shave the door and they no longer dispose of carpet....

OFF TOPIC : 🇬🇧🌧️ London records its first rainless month in 155 years. A weather station at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, recorded no rainfall throughout July, marking the first time in recorded history that the city has experienced a completely dry month since observations began in 1871.
Sadly, there will be no ‘more’. We are heartbroken at TPTV to hear that we have lost another dear friend of the channel, Jimmy Cricket. A very lovely and funny man who kept audiences in stiches when he appeared on stage at our festivals. A true comedy legend. Thanks for all the laughs Jimmy.
