Janitor at a secondhand store, hobby cartoonist, comicbook enthusiast, cinephile and silly person. Swedish.

I had a dream a few days ago where I was at my local grocery store. My mother, brother, sister, and a female hollywood celebrity (I think it was Olivia Wilde, but I`m not sure) were there. And also: I ate a tie.

Hugh Jackman: gets a comicbook accurate Wolverine suit. People on the internet: Yay! James Marsden: gets a comicbook accurate Cyclops suit. People on the internet: Yay! Rebecca Romijn: gets a comicbook accurate Mystique suit. People on the internet: Boo! SMH #avengersdoomsday #mcu

If I made a movie about Legend of Zelda, I`d make it animated, and I`d try to give it a Studio Ghibli-like kind of feeling. Link wouldn`t be silent all of the time, he`d have a few lines, kinda like Silent Bob.

If you are commissioning an artist, and want a specific pose, don't run to genAI to try and make it for you. Draw a stick person. Stick person poses are beloved among all artists. We can see exactly what you want. Do not fear sending the stick person. The stick person is magical.

“You either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become a Disney villain.” ―Harvey Dent from the movie "The Dark Knight" His exact words... probably.

A notable feature of AI is that it has changed the nature of what feels amateurish. It used to be that a poster made by someone who didn’t know what they were doing would be comic sans on clipart, which was at least charming. Now it’s that creepy Ghibli-knockoff style and lots of greebly overdetail.

The craziest thing about the AI boosters is when they say “you can’t do this without AI” “I can’t make an event flyer without AI” when we all remember just 3 years ago how we all got along fine without it.
