Spent all day learning multiplayer networking and oh boy is it a lot But it's slowly working and coming together....
I think by the end of this year I'm gonna learn how to make a multiplayer game. Not that I'll release anything any time soon for one, but I have ideas and I'd love to make a game my pals can enjoy and goof around in together eventually.
I think something that endlessly tires me is when I mention I use a specific thing, like Unity or Windows, and someone will tell me to use Godot or Linux without asking why I use them. I use the tools that best suit my specific needs. Obnoxiously suggesting that your thing is better isn't helpful.

Managed to refactor a bunch of code and reduce things by like 550 lines overall which felt good. Mostly was deduplication and converting two similar menus and control systems into shared helpers for a single source to compose both properly.
Got a bunch of stuff written for Thimble today. Making good progress on his upcoming content~
Looks like my windows install just decided to eat shit simply from me swapping secure boot off for a moment and then back on after installing CachyOS to another drive What in the fuck is going on, I fucking hate Microsoft products so much Bootloader is fine it just won't load on startup
Need to figure out some alternative software when I swap to Linux for several things. Like I need a new IDE since Visual Studio won't work. Need something like Photoshop (maybe gimp but augh it sucks), need some video editing software. Guess I should make a list of everything I use constantly. Hmm

At some point I want to rebuild my main PC with a brand new drive as the primary and swap a few older ones out. Would love to start fresh on Linux after I reorganize a bunch of stuff and consolidate some things. Having 7 drives makes it a pain and I don't wanna format the wrong one accidentally.
Hoping tomorrow my mom can get some different meds, the current ones they gave her caused some bad interactions with other meds she has to take and it's been rough the past few days on her.

I need to untangle all of Taw's dialogue trees at some point and fix them in Tailraise. He wound up having multiple talk hubs based on progression before I had better systems in place and it sucks trying to maintain it. I've got ideas on how to streamline it but it's gonna be a big pain to do.
