it's weird feeling like you suck at everything. for one thing, i don't normally feel that way. also, i know i don't ACTUALLY suck at everything. and moreover, i don't think i'm depressed. but unemployment has created this sense of detachment that has gotten hard to shake.

Considering the changes happening at Google, making regular search results into a conversation with an AI bot, it was very easy for me to change my default search engine on my phone. Settings > Safari > Default Search Engine > there’s a nice simple dropdown menu. I picked DuckDuckGo.

got lovingly called out on discord so let me check in here! i am present, i am writing! i'm still unemployed aside from some contracting, so my schedule is wildly unpredictable and i've learned that instability infects the rest of my life. when you don't have something anchoring you day-to-day (1/2)

my bulk is over and was not terribly successful. I gained but not nearly the amount my coach and I were hoping for. I thought being mostly unemployed would help me with focusing but it actually made things worse - turns out life structure helps instead of distracts lol. the next one will be better 🤞

i can't overemphasize how important all my readers are to me right now. i haven't had a full-time job since sept (idk if you heard but the job market is kinda not great!) and at the moment, writing is the ONLY thing bringing in money. it's crazy that muscle growth is keeping my lights on.
