In two and a half months, the state of Utah has banned NINE new books. The list of state-sanctioned book bans now stands at 28. This is amid a lawsuit filed in February against these bans. More will be coming. This one was added sneakily to the list.

Utah has now banned its 28th book from all public schools statewide. LOOKING FOR ALASKA by @johngreensbluesky.bsky.social was apparently removed on March 2, but the state didn't bother noting it until late last week. It's the 9th book banned in Utah **this year**. bookriot.com/utah-bans-28...
