As a part of an ongoing series where I bowdlerize folk tales for the kids' bedtime stories, I did Odysseus and the cyclops (they jabbed a huge q tip in his ear). The baby then said she had a story and this is how it went: "One upon a time there was a cyclops. It ate [both her brothers]. The end"
