I'm very excited to shoot photography and videography at an event at the Walker Arts Center coming up soon. It's not in the art museum area and it's just a small event but it's always fun to get back there. Last time I was there was for a premier for a film I did (very little) work on.

Hollup, I have an idea. Potato iron maiden. Stabbing a bunch of potatoes with a fork is no fun and I'm legit gonna puncture the meaty part of my thumb/hand someday. Stick them taters in the potato iron maiden, press, and you got some vented spuds. Someone has probably found a better way, though...

it cannot actually be ignored or danced around that the closure of BioWare came so soon after the Saudi and Jared Kushner acquisition of EA. they absolutely did take the studio making EA’s broadly queerest games out back and shoot it old yeller style. do not let yourself or colleagues ignore that

The weapons are now individual items, missiles will be physical objects (maybe shader based for performance later, so far they are simple meshes) I fucking love godot, it's so easy to iterate in, the line between programmer art and final function is really blurry and it's up to you to focus in

I miss being a Sol Citizen. Getting let go from the stream team was... difficult. Podcasting is all about consistency. With kids, all consistency goes to them first. They're still my favorite Star Citizen podcast. Nuanced discussions from folks that look like me. Breath of fresh air. Check em out.

Penguin Colony is a vital work of confrontational art. A game that reclaims Lovecraft’s words and turns them against his own beliefs. If it looks like a gag game (cosmic horror March of the Penguins) from the outside, know that it very, very much is not. My review. www.polygon.com/penguin-colo...
