Salem and I had a little show today.

Said goodbye to my beautiful baby girl, Penny Pepper. We gave her the best life and had a vet come to the house for a peaceful send off. She had a wonderful send off. Steak and potatoes and a full McDonald’s meal. She ate like the queen she was. I’m gonna miss her so fucking much. My eyes hurt.

Today was the first day I got to try a fruit from my cucamellon plant. They produce these tiny melons that taste like a mildly citrus flavored cucumber. If I have the room I will definitely be planting many more of these next year to throw in salads. They are fun!

Ooof… so we cancelled our Chewy auto shipping for our puppy since she’s in hospice and they sent us a vase of flowers as condolences. I think that’s super nice and Chewy is a wonderful company but she’s still here! So now I’m weeping and cuddling her and I have a meeting in a few minutes.

We are having a nice lazy weekend. Giving her all the cuddles. I love this girl so much.

I’m in that fun space where you are just in a holding pattern of mourning a pet. Like you know the time is close but not right now. So I’ve just been hyper focused on giving lots of love and attention until the time comes. Want to shower her with love, affection, and all her favorite foods.

I have a fig tree and recently learned you can make tea and syrup from the leaves. Tried it this weekend, and wow—it’s amazing! The flavor is surprisingly vanilla-like. Mixed with seltzer it makes an incredible soda, and it’s fantastic in coffee too. Definitely making this again!

Sadly, Oliver Tree did not reveal his death was all a hoax during his Celebration Of Life event tonight. He is truly gone.

Just tried a cheesesteak at a local bar in Johnstown called Murphys. Was the best cheesesteak I’ve had here but that’s a super low bar. Most cheesesteaks in the area are best filed in the trash.

So PROF, an independent rapper, just sold 30k physical copies of his new album Good Time Boy then got disqualified from the billboard charts. The music industry is a wild place!! But tbh not sure if 30k is a lot of sales in charting terms. I like the album tho!!

I had a nice time at AC but was kinda down most of the time. I brought my bass rig but got a big case of stage fright and anxiety about playing in front of ppl. So I never set up around the con like I did last year. Genuinely disappointed in myself. Maybe next year I’ll get it together.

Having a fun time with my garden this year. Started some seeds inside and then also sowed some right into the ground. The plants I started inside are looking great but the seeds in the ground haven’t sprouted yet. My goal is to feed my tortoises only what I grow from my garden.

Just finished AtomFall. It’s a good game. Strong in storyline but weak in combat, enemies, weapons, & items but overall it was a fun game that I’m glad I played. It’s like Fallout light.
