Kotaku parading that garbage "recompilation" Generation 1 Pokémon project is genuinely upsetting. I was hoping the communities would reject vibe coded garbage, but these people are now intentionally hiding the usage and even lying that it's hand-written to peddle their slop onto others.
I hate saying this, but please be naturally skeptical of any "recomp" project you see. When an article comes out saying, *insert classic game here* is now playable on PC!!" assume it's vibe coded AI crap. Projects like that take an absurd amount of time/effort to be done well by actual programmers!!

Rolled credits on Splatoon Raiders!! The Splatoon series has cemented itself as some of Nintendo's finest, and it only keeps getting better as a singleplayer experience with every release somehow, perfectly building off each previous release/DLC.
