Misguided public health messaging has consequences. The science on measles vaccines is clear. The #MMR vaccine is probably the best, safest und most effective vaccine of all times. It is cheap and prevents children from dying from preventable diseases. Vitamins do not protect from viruses.

RFK has absolutely no idea what he's talking about. He should absolutely not be leading HHS. Everyone used to get #measles, and it led to 400-500 child deaths every year—plus severe complications like encephalitis & pneumonia You know what actually provides lifelong immunity? The MMR vaccine.

RFK Jr: "It used to be that everybody got measles. And the measles gave you lifetime protection against measles infection. The vaccine doesn't do that ... it used to be that very young kids were protected by breast milk. Women who get vaccinated do not provide that level of immunity."
