I think my least favourite trope in modern TV might be “comedy Eastern European gangsters”.

the large number of US tourists in Dublin really drives home how normalised cosmetic surgery has become there among the prosperous middle-classes. I keep seeing women my age with versions of Mar-a-Lago faces, and they’re all American tourists. It looks so odd to see irl!
