Finished Star Trek Resurgence. It’s a Telltale-esque game and it’s fine. As a Star Trek story I enjoyes it, even if it slipped over to the movie ”grand scale and action” territory and a plot that reminded me of that GoTG game.

Listening to Broken Angels by Richard Morgan (second Takeshi Kovac book) and suddenly I was in the sex scene while perusing pasta. Richard Morgan is a horny bastard. (Shouldn’t be surprised after Altered Carbon)

Finished the Remnant vault on Eos yesterday and I forgot how much Mass Effect: Andromeda feels like it's covered in sticky notes saying "Placeholder fix later." Everything is a bit awkward and feels like it needs another pass. The dialogue feels off, the animations feels off, cutscenes feels off.
I like the Tempest in ME: Andromeda. I manages to not be a complete copy of the Normandy and I think it looks cool. The Pathfinder's cabin is a bit too big and luxurious though. So was Shepard's on the SR-1 but that's a Cerberus design and this is almost even more extravagant.
Braid. Fuck that game and that smug prick who made it. (Some puzzles are neat though)
No hate, no dogpiling, just curious. For me, it's Skyrim. Don't know why, considering it should be exactly my kind of game, but it just didn't click for me.
(Spoilers, video clips) I love the Mass Effect 3 Citadel DLC. It’s completely stupid and self-indulgent but it’s just a treat of levity in an overall very bleak game. I don’t even care about some characters being a bit flanderized, I just like to spend more time with them.
I still think Wrex’s character model in ME1 looks fantastic. He might be kinda low poly by modern standards but the art and animations make him look amazing compared to all other squadmates in the game.
Video of an ICE agent pulling a gun on a wife and mother, who is a US citizen born and raised in the area, near Bailey's Crossroads in Northern Virginia yesterday. Chillingly, they claimed she “almost ran them over” until she told them she had video proving that was a lie.
Got me some additional games. Gotta get the ones I want before Sony nukes my hobby from orbit.
The Synthesis ending in Mass Effect 3 is so stupid I still get annoyed by it all these years later.
I love this game so much. It deserves an extra 10 million in sales or something. I'd buy it again on PC if it wasn't locked to EGS.
Alan Wake 2 has surpassed 3 million copies sold, moving it into healthier profit. (Read more at Eurogamer)
I’m still heartbroken over Microsoft’s treatment of id. thisweekinvideogames.com/news/doom-de...
Doom Developer is "Not the Same id" After Layoffs, Says Studio Veteran
Lead services programmer Chris Hays, who still works at id, added that Microsoft "fundamentally don't understand art... They don't understand games"

It's saturday, I'm gonna try playing that new Quake episode they released.
Tried some Big Walk yesterday and it’s cute. Got my hands on a megaphone and annoyed everyone with it. It’s a bit like The Witness but it’s not made by an asshole and you get to be an idiot with your friends instead.
Rumors of Bioware being sold by EA after the acquisition. Real question, who in the world would be the prefered owners and custodians of those IPs (if they are a packaged deal with Bioware) to begin with?
Who the hell would honestly subscribe to Netflix to watch the GTAVI trailer 6 hours early?
Got an email from Netflix begging me to subscribe again, but it's 20+ frickin' dollars for the 4K subscription? Hell naw, return when you have enough stuff for me to binge in a month.
Been pondering The Odyssey for a bit and I still think the editing at the first half is poor. Too fast and jumpy with not enough connective tissue for a coherent flow. It gets better later. The story is the most interesting part. I understand that historians and fans of the original works of Homer
Odyssey was good. Nolan can’t edit shit to save his life but the story and music was great.
The Samsung Galaxy Fold8 (not Ultra) is probably the first foldable phone I'd actually be interested in, ignoring the price and that it's... Samsung. But the size and dimensions look great and the design is pretty cool. It's way too expensive and it's still not reliable enough, but soon?
I always forget how beyond awful the journal was in Mass Effect 3. It should have been illegal with how poor it is at tracking what you’re actually supposed to do.

People who likes the Porgs from Star Wars are part of THE problem. I will give no further explanation.
