"The great irony is that bans against trans women in women’s sports, women’s bathrooms & other areas of public life actually endanger all women." In  @thehill.com, our president @fatimagossgraves.bsky.social writes about how sports bans have never been about protecting women.

Banning transgender athletes has never been about protecting women

It is no accident that the same politicians are pushing both anti-transgender legislation and a rollback of women’s other protections.

Promising news! Texans voted AGAINST book bans and gender-policing students because these policies make schools worse for everyone. Hoping new school boards repeal these policies and invest in schools that teach truth and value kids regardless of race, sex, disability or other traits.

Texas conservatives who've championed book bans & anti-LGBT policies suffered big losses tonight in school board races. And They seem to have lost their working majorities to pass their policies in big school boards. I tracked these results in FOUR boards tonight. So a 🧵 on each ICYMI.
