Fighter for gender justice.

Still thinking about our powerful conversation on Martha’s Vineyard about building a better future for women and girls, in sports and beyond. Terri Carmichael Jackson's leadership on the WNBPA’s groundbreaking CBA shows what’s possible when women know their value, stand together and build power.

I am sending my support and solidarity to Congresswoman LaMonica McIver as she continues to fight the Trump administration's chilling attacks on her. This administration fears Black women, and they have shown they will go to terrifying lengths to silence us.

The allegations of domestic violence & child abuse against Rep. Max Miller demand immediate action. This kind of abuse isn't just a private "family matter"—and no amount of shaming or blaming make it less serious. His response to these very serious allegations make clear that he is not fit to serve.

Max Miller, Accused of Abuse, Is Not Stepping Aside. Here’s What We Know.

The Ohio Republican who is seeking a third term defiantly denied domestic abuse allegations ahead of a deadline to replace him on the ballot.

A reminder that Liam Ramos, the son of legal residents in Minnesota, is still being held in a Texas prison. A five year old little boy - and America’s global reputation - now scarred for life. (📸 Ali Daniel’s/AP)

Little Liam Ramos stood facing an ICE vehicle with his cartoon blue wooly hat. A state-sponsored terrorist ICE agent is holding him by his rucksack.

Walz: "To Americans who are watching this, I've got a question for you: What side do you want to be on? The side of an all powerful federal govt that can kill, injury, menace, & kidnap its citizens off the streets? Or on the side of a nurse at the VA hospital who died bearing witness to such govt?"

These are the consequences of a government that stokes fear, discrimination, and sanctions violence. Our thoughts are with the family of the woman murdered by ICE agents today, and all those who have lost their lives because of this cruel and careless administration.

Live updates: ICE officer shoots and kills a woman during the Minneapolis immigration crackdown

After a federal officer shot and killed a Minneapolis motorist, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey rejected Homeland Security's claim that the ICE officer acted in self-defense.

Sending political opponents to prison is something authoritarians do. We must not allow a weaponized DOJ to be the norm. Thank you @replamonica.bsky.social for continuing to fight against this administration’s efforts to scare and silence anyone who dissents.

Today I filed notice of appeal in my case. From the beginning, I’ve fought back against this administration’s cruelty and attempts to silence dissent—this appeal is the next step in the fight.

For her courage and leadership defending her community, her constituents, and our democracy, she is attacked and dehumanized by the most powerful man in the world. This is right out of the authoritarian's playbook. It is as disgusting as it is anti-democratic. This is what fascism looks like.

First they illegally fired federal workers, then they cut funding for bridges and roads, then they stopped SNAP payments and now it is flights. What if they actually focused on governing for all people instead… Costs are not down and communities are not safer. And voters are not confused.
