The EA news made me realize I don't know what EA even does any more. I mean, Sims. And (the underappreciated) Veilguard a few years ago. And Battlefield. But then I looked it up and it's all just the sports games. Wall to wall sports games. I want Petroglyph to buy the C&C IP.

Got the bike feeling great with my bro. Made the best pizza of my life for lunch. Just got back from an awesome first ride. Good times.
Long story short I'm now the proud owner of an Univega Alpina Uno. Vintage beaut. Getting it all fixed up and tuned with my bro this weekend. Life is funny sometimes.
I saw someone share this earlier this week but just finally got around to watching it and holy shit, what a talk. I think the content of it is super thought provoking but also, like, as an example of a medium itself. What a talk! www.youtube.com/watch?v=17_H...

oh snap, huge draknek sale. all of these are great introductions to the genre, but also have brutally hard side content for the puzzle sickos out there. I'd be willing to be the puzzle sickos already own a lot of these, though. Go get your puzz on.

life chapter stuff. I realized last year that I cared more about teaching and making games with Ash (ashandadamsgames.bsky.social) than I did about regularly hustling for art direction gigs. So I redid my website to better reflect my whole deal. www.adamdegrandis.com
I frequently say to my students "games are terrible until they are great"
one of the weirdest things about working on games is how quickly something can turn from "this feels awful and unplayable" to "this feels great and polished" in the span of like a week with highly targeted adjustments and no major redos at all
Technology is cool, too bad they made it evil
Still stuck in the subway. No “anomalies” in sight.
My bike was stolen last week while I was hanging out with my friend Syd. Syd texts me a few days after to just say hey. I tell them about my bike. They're all "damn dude that sucks". Yesterday they text me with "this is crazy, but my roommate just asked me to help her sell two bikes".
I'm still bummed about my bike being stolen, but i think these might end up being the best pizzas I've made; i have a feeling about the dough. Good with the bad.
they're great. another L for my haters
Hey I made bread for the first time ever
my game has been getting good reviews, which feels pretty nice go play it, it's unapologetically the thing that it is
Existential Treads - our dual stick shooter/settlement builder/tower defense mash up - got a huge update this week. Buncha new modes, quality of life stuff, and bug fixes. And holy heck, it's on sale. It's ludicrous. Call your mother. store.steampowered.com/app/3580340/... #screenshotsaturday
My cat doing an impression of that fucked up raccoon
Pre lunch marsh bike. Flippin gorgeous weather today.
Wow. The ICE shooter in Maine asked his ex-wife to "to lie for him and to cover for his character." She said he was abusive and had previously reported concerns about him to his military superiors. He was also a volunteer firefighter, but was removed after several spats with department leadership.

An ex-wife told the Press Herald that David Brouillette called her and admitted he was the ICE agent who shot Johan Sebastián Durán Guerrero.
