The film will be directed by Nitya Mehra (Baar Baar Dekho). Reel FX is producing.
Streets (the other site) are saying it reached a billion.

Watching movies at home is nice and all, but some movies NEED to be witnessed in the theater.
ToonHive@toonhive.bsky.social · 3d agoLast year, Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos said releasing movies in theaters was “an outdated idea,” saying people wanted to watch films from home. Fast forward to today, theaters have delivered the biggest weekend in global box office history.
Ooooooh! Surprised they didn’t dub the other movies like they did the original three.

Random thing I noticed. Most MCU movies don’t credit the loop group voice actors. Thunderbolts and Fantastic 4 did. Then Brand New Day goes back to not doing it.

Movies deserve to be released in theaters, movies and shows deserve to be released outside of streamers exclusively, and movies and shows deserve to be released on physical media for people to own. They shouldn't be kept locked up in one specific place.
