And so in a giddy, wrist-flapping tizz I bought tix for The Waterboys at Roundhouse… only to realise that I’ve got a long-standing job that night. Delighted to pass tix on to 17 year old daughter - same age as me when I first bought This Is The Sea. Is that the circle of life of which they speak?

What did we get up to this morning? We brought down the govt., protested a war, decriminalised homosexuality, watched The Avengers, tuned in to Radio Caroline, visited Groovy Bob & met Twiggy. Just another morning on the London In The Swinging 60s #walkingtour Thanks to all who joined me! 🍸☮️🪖🎸💊📸👚🏙️

An unusual location… I’m ostensibly on a “day off” & night away in East Sussex, but couldn’t resist a snap of Lewes Prison where Mick Jagger was held on remand, with art dealer Robert Fraser on 28 June 1967 following the Redlands bust of February that year. There’s ALWAYS a music history location

An enjoyable musical week. A trip to The Face exhibition at NPG, playing tunes at home, booked 🎟️ The Divine Comedy in Oct & showed music fans around St James’s, Earl’s Court, Soho and Fitzrovia. Looking forward to seeing a few of you over the long #weekend. Whatever you get up to, have a good one
