I want to just make the switch to Bluesky but it does feel like sports twitter hasn’t moved over here in any real way and there are some accounts I would miss. I don’t feel I add anything to either platform

With Last Five Years popping off because of Zegler and Platt in London, two things: 1) Ben Platt kind of only plays Ben Platt 2) “I will not fail so that you can be comfortable. I will not fail because you can’t win” is a devastating line

Trying to help a unhoused individual I have been helping over the last couple of years. Had him in transitional housing but he keeps making choices that make things hard. His current plan is to live in his car again I said “bro the last time you did that you got sick” (he did) “No I didn’t”

I don’t know anything about fiction awards but this book FREAKING ROCKED. it led me down a “author I just found out about” rabbit hole and I am on book 3 of his Threshold series. Just excellent and engaging writing and Ray Porter’s narration is forever elite.

...might I, as they say, recommend GOD'S JUNK DRAWER for your consideration? It's a fun sci-fi mystery novel with lots of dinosaurs, an alien, some Neanderthals, a very old android, and a lot more. Plus an easter egg or ten if you look carefully. There's also...

The cover for GOD'S JUNK DRAWER by Peter Clines, showing a dinosaur skeleton in a black void, along with a space suit helmet, a human skull, a bionic arm, and a stone-tipped spear.

@peterclines.com came across god’s junk drawer because of an audible ad Really really excellent and really enjoyable Brought me some joy as I fight off the depression caused by being surrounded by ice in the northeast Just downloaded 14 I don’t know how I hadn’t discovered your work glad I did
