Looks like PRS day is one day early - happy PRS day, music folk! Summer is normally the leanest of the bunch for me, never really questioned why that is... but still very much grateful to see my music getting used!
I think one of the worst things about working with audio in any sort of professional capacity is forgetting to take the time to step away and just listen to what's already out there, to get completely pulled into something you haven't heard before.

Finally got around to listening to Inferno. Much like BoC's previous record, I managed to avoid all the hype and marketing surrounding it, so I was able to give it a proper listen without any expectations beyond my own. I thought it was bloody marvellous. Can't wait to dip back into it.

In light of the recent Native Instruments news, now is as good a time as any to strongly urge everyone writing music to ALWAYS render stems for everything you work on. If storage is a concern, maybe consider using a lossless compression format such as FLAC. My only regret is not doing it sooner.

I remember in the 90s when K'nex was marketed as a sort of advanced alternative to Lego, and was a bit curious about it. Having now acquired some as an adult, I have satisfied my curiosity and confirmed my suspicions - it's kinda shit
