I had a realization yesterday that The Sorcerer's Apprentice is a great allegory for Generative AI. Mickey pawns off work to an autonomous force only to have that force mindlessly use keep doing that very thing and destroy everything while using up plenty of perfectly good water in the process

This is NOT about preservation. They are only doing this to harvest pre 2020's books to use for more training data. They have chosen this method that DESTROYS the book on purpose, because it is faster and cheaper. They know time is limited before society and the bubble catches up with them.

The AI trend these filmmakers and companies are pushing makes less sense when it's been proven literally NO ONE LIKES IT. Literally NONE of these AI endeavors have been successful. It's something that these people say we have to "accept" when NO ONE HAS! SO WHY ARE YOU STILL FORCING IT?!

Let me say this for the millionth time. Animation IS a film MEDIUM. A MEDIUM is the process/tools used to tell a story. Live action is a MEDIUM. Animation is NOT a GENRE. A genre is the type/category of story being told. Horror is a GENRE. Animation can be a MEDIUM used in ANY GENRE of film.
