OPBR annoys me so much bc it bans words like "trans" and "my" as prohibited characters bc you have no idea how many ppl are using the reverse swastika despite clearly not being Hindu in intent
the past: "dont pirate that software, it might put malware on your computer" now: "that software is good but the official version essentially comes bundled with malware so make sure to pirate it"
realising vgen allows tips once completed work is actually such an encouragement for me, im like ill do my best and be quick so I might get one, but accept I won't always. it's just nice because I know it's not on the table but it encourages me to try my best

This is a metaphor so on the nose it hurts. Literally, they are removing knowledge from the public domain to feed their machines and permanently deny your access to it. The privatization of knowledge and information is their goal.
