Are we still drawing the guys wearing those outfits? I spent more time than I care to admit looking for reference, and the most thorough reference I can find is the figurines. I noticed something interesting about these two outfits and wondered if that related to the characters they’re based on.

Garma Zabi and Char Aznable from Mobile Suit Gundam wearing Catharine Blitzen’s outfits from Gundam Build Fighters, which are very skimpy. Garma is uncomfortable Char is confident. “Are you sure about this?” “Trust me, this plan is brilliant!” “But I’m practically naked!” “Aren’t you a Zabi Man? Where’s your pride?” “And Where’s yours? Why are you more covered up than me?” “A lady can’t show everything, Garma!That’s how the Red Comet keeps a mysterious aura!” “… The red comet is a lady?” Char says “Anyway, let’s go,” and turns around, revealing that his outfit’s leotard rides up his butt completely, while Garma’s outfit at least covers his bottom. Garma is shocked to see this.
