tom holland got paid about 25 million for brand new day, which, hey, huge payday, congrats to him, but i'm seeing some not super well sourced reporting that he has a backend deal of 5-8 percent of first dollar gross (as in, straight from ticket sales), which probs means he'll clear 9 figures on it.

because this is going to drive me insane seeing it over and over again today: halo campaign evolved wasn't "rebuilt in unreal engine 5." it was rebuilt systemically and structurally in the halo reach version of BLAM (the halo engine) using UE5 as a renderer, like oblivion/ninja gaiden 2 black.
there aren't a lot of multiplayer things where i get to have the "still got it" moments, but ... sometimes. just sometimes.
