Fell down a Suzy-Q rabbit hole while researching another Pepsodent girl. Suzy's ad debuted in November 1955, her name was originally spelled "Susie-Q" and if the articles I've read are correct, she wasn't even the only Pepsodent girl to adopt that name. In Australia, however, they called her "Suzy".

Suzy Q Pepsodent 1956-1964 The gleaming white smile of Suzy Q - introduced by Tex Avery at Cascade Studios - lit up American screens during her brief run in the mid-1950's. She never appeared outside of TV, but her popularity extended to Britain and Australia where she enjoyed a fairly longer run.

I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. I crowdsourced and then finalized this document "How to disable or avoid intrusive AI" and then gave it a short URL: notoai.org Please pass along if it's useful

I have not seen the "Seems like AI slop" button appear yet but I am 100% convinced it is actually a tool to flag stuff that is too obviously AI to then be fed into future AI to make it less obvious. Remember that LinkedIn is owned by Microsoft! There is no altruistic reason for them to add this.
