An approach I've found that works really well for social media is "no matter how right they are, if they're being a cunt about it, block them" I used to allow my feed to fill up with ppl I agree with who were nonetheless really fucking obnoxious about it, and it felt bad. But no more.

Kids need/deserve traumatic films. Films that show death or lasting consequences that aren't resolved almost instantly. Fear, anger, grief and frustration should be part of kids movies. Kids arent stupid, they feel big emotions just like adults, they deserve to see those experiences reflected back.
