I keep going back and forth on whether I think I might be autistic. Yesterday I said “I’m probably not autistic”. About 5 minutes later, I put on gloves to eat my pizza because I just could not handle the sensory experience of touching it. Welp.
I am trying to divest myself from the "big tech" stuff where I can. Right now I am using Vivaldi as my browser and Qwant as my search engine. It's fun, because my name is Q, so now whenever I search something it's like "Q want this" in my head. I'm like the Hulk.
Being able to watch easily accessible anime, subbed, on demand on my TV is such a privilege. It used to be so much work to track down, keep, and curate files. Appreciating this while watching Bleach: TYBW and enjoying this peak animation. Life is good sometimes.

Happy National Book Lovers Day!! When I was sick and I did not know what was wrong my brain fog was so bad that I could not read any books. I didn't retain the information and got no joy from it. A year+ after my Celiac diagnosis, I've started reading again, and falling in love with books again!

Spider-Noir was fun. The cinematography was amazing and both black and white and color looked great. However there wasn’t enough “spider” time for me. And too many excuses to be unmasked. I like my heroes with their mask on lol. Time to rewatch Spiderverse.

I wish that retail workers didn’t have to be forced to over-engage the consumer in some stores. The corpos are incentivizing workers that get more credit for being helpful and it’s an overcorrection that’s not necessary. We need a living wage for everyone so these games will stop.
This is so major for me. I get sick so much that I wanna be very cautious with food safety. This makes it much easier to understand how to plan my food use. I’m so happy about this.

Now, manufacturers selling food in California must use two standardized labels — a “Best if Used By” label for peak quality and “Use By” label for product safety.
