This is 💯 not true. It is never a choice between ‘taking big tech’s money and doing nothing’. A stronger moral imperative is NOT to take the money and the strings attached to it - particularly if you do not and cannot yet understand the implications
“Teaching educators about AI is a ‘moral imperative’, said Randi Weingarten, the AFT president.” “And without outside funding, it was a choice between taking big tech’s money or doing nothing, she said.”
It's demoralizing living in a nonstop Abuse-a-thon: we've had to learn the sordid details of so many men's abhorrent behavior; I mean this summer has been Graham Platner, Andrew Tate, Jared Leto, Max Miller, plus the horrific L.A. rape-murder of the child by the rapper, to name a few lowlights.
amazing how so few of the gazillion think pieces criticizing women for not dating straight men fail to mention the whole “many of them literally don’t wash their asses” thing:
I remember a coworker in her late twenties saying this on how dating was so difficult. I was not surprised by her first two complaints: general anger issues and having few outside hobbies. I WAS surprised at her mention of how many men apparently don’t wash their hair or butts.
This is not what the Atlantic reported at all, good lord
Tor Bramble has backed HM Wolfe after the Atlantic reported that the author’s dystopian romance Daggermouth returned a 60% score in an analysis using the AI-detection tool Pangram, which the author has described as "wholly untrue"👇
People are dismissing this piece too lightly I think. Will is very good tech reporter and the story cites multiple instances of work apparently duplicative of other ebooks. This isn’t him feeding the book into an AI detector.
Is This What Comes After AI Slop?
Daggermouth could be the first best-selling novel partly written by a chatbot.

Imagine you solve the lament configuration but it’s a note from Pinhead saying Do you Like me check yes or no
This just might be the most psychotic act of sexual harassment I’ve ever seen. Not the worst per se, or most menacing but in terms of sheer insanity it’s really up there.
For some reason nobody had these complaints about Barclays Center which was a giant giveaway to rich people and only rich people
Opinion: Mamdani's idea may sound appealing, but it's NYC taxpayers who will take the hit, subsidizing discounts they may never even use.
“So grave is the scale, nature, systematic character, & transnational reach of these atrocities against women & girls, that a number of them may reasonably meet the legal threshold of crimes against humanity.” www.ohchr.org/en/press-rel... www.justice.gov/epstein/file... US femicide is iatrogenic
without the cushioning biome of Fox News it’s amazing what hateful deviants these guys all are
TAPPER: One of the files you released was an image of your daughter naked. It was available for a day before it was removed. Your ex-wife's attorney says it could quality as CSAM. That's shockingly reckless behavior MAX MILLER: I wouldn't say it's shockingly reckless. There was no genitalia exposed
Are there any good legasequels? Blade Runner 2049 and then… is that ir?

One sign of the rise of male supremacy and the decline in women’s status is the ubiquity of online porn lingo in casual speech.
It was this one, and, yes, I do believe that was an All In first.
