Mute swans (Cygnus olor) are among the heaviest flying birds & require a long runway, which means we get the majestic approach, a few furious moments of webbed feet slapping on water, then the majestic splashdown.
It has turned into a sort of tradition now that whenever I watch the fantastic series For All Mankind, I must set this as my desktop background on my computer, for maximum space vibes. Love it. #ForAllMankind #Moon
