This Labour Government is cracking down on fly-tipping by increasing the maximum fine by 400%. I know my constituents are tired of fly-tippers getting away with dumping their waste illegally on our streets. Labour is tackling this head on and is coming down hard on fly-tippers from this summer.

Hulme Hippodrome was a beautiful theatre space for the community - now it's derelict and at risk of collapsing without investment. That's why I met with campaigners at @theatrestrust.bsky.social to ask how I can support their campaign to reopen this space and put it back on the map for residents.

It's been over two years since the ICJ ruled that Israel's occupation of Palestine is unlawful and that governments must to end the occupation and ensure Palestine receives aid. I joined calls for the Government to act on the ruling. I want the Government to sanction illegal Israeli settlements.

I joined a roundtable with local organisations about the government's changes to immigration and asylum. It was helpful to listen to experts tell me how we can work to create a fairer system which places wellbeing at the heart of the process. I will feed back what I learnt to the government.
