Two impactful takeaways from the Stronger Together - Empowering Community Action to Prevent Youth Suicide event Great to hear from the panelists @mariamichail.bsky.social, Philip Pirie, Jane Boland, Leah Preston & Lizzie Mitchell. Pooja Saini for chairing & Hajirah Jehan for putting it together!

Two post-it notes with feedback

- it's ok to ask if someone feels suicidal
- very powerful event - a safe space to discuss incredibly important & difficult topic. As a researcher, these spaces are important to reconnect with the meaning

In support of this great work the Empowering Community Action to Prevent Youth Suicide event takes place 17/10/25 18:30–20:30. Open to young people, parents, carers, charities, suicide prevention services, local authorities, community leaders, and researchers. www.birmingham.ac.uk/events/stron...
