This is the key part for me too. If this is also followed with party members resigning en masse and/or a wave of new people signing up to the new party, it can both drive more CHP MPs joining and start a strong momentum.

What I know is that the fact the 67 per cent of the CHP MPs joined it - knowing that they will highly likely face repression - is a strong democratic defence of political representation.
