"When we 'were' posthuman. Scanning our lost future?", Rossella Ciocca's plenary, is keeping #aia32 participants on the edge of their seats, both with her words and her visuals!
. @carolosullivan.bsky.social 's plenary, "Researching Audiences for Subtitled Media in the UK," encourages #aia32 participants to reflect on the different audience attitudes and behaviours toward subtitling. The room is packed, and we are all captivated by this insightful and entertaining talk.

#AIA32 is in 3 DAYS!! Weather info: Conference days are going to be sunny, but nights in Torino can be a bit chilly. The temperature in university rooms might be a bit cool, too, especially if the A/C is on. Make sure to pack some layers so you stay comfortable. Looking forward to seeing you all!

Meet our first plenary speaker, Professor ROSSELLA CIOCCA from #unior. Her research interests include postcolonial literature and theory/Black British,South Asian, diasporic, and Indian literatures/ecocriticism and cli-fi/trans- and post-humanism.
