has anyone seen this character before? they are in the files of kh recoded as placeholder I assume. the kanji on their jacket says "current", as in like the present

Another step closer to preserving Before Crisis! Last year, Ch.1 was found in full, and it's slowly getting more complete. I'm always so impressed by the team at the Keitai World server working to get BC operational – imo, this game is emblematic of the whole keitai preservation effort. Great work!

A new partial copy of Before Crisis FFVII was preserved by NaoyaShinota! This copy contains Turk data for Cissnei, as well as a battle map and sprites for Weapon D Mode (postgame superboss mode). Now we preserved four Turks: Rod, Gun (Male), Nunchuck, and Shuriken (aka Cissnei).

"Why are all these MOBILE GAME characters in my KH4 trailer?!?" Maybe it's because the mobile games are the only part of this franchise keeping character design alive? In the past 15 years, how many actually new characters have we had outside of the mobile games? Basically none!

I don't find this assessment to be likely. If nomura drew this, then he'd have each of these layers separately drawn anyway, wouldn't have drawn it in this aspect ratio if it was a box cover, and Mickey's standing on the rocky terrain that is placed at the bottom in the landscape version.
