Knowing my surgery is less than a week away is such a relief. It somehow doesn’t feel real yet. Those memories surface as almost a reminder to not get too hopeful. I can thank my mind for trying to protect me & choose to embrace anticipation anyways. We all deserve to feel at home in ourselves.

Hurt feelings aren't an inherently bad thing. Pain spurs people to growth. When you call out a friend's bad behavior, it will hurt them *and also* it's a call for them to be a kinder person. The key is to be thoughtful and invite reintegration when the work is done.

Maybe I'm in the minority here but if people who support AI are being shamed into silence then it's working. The shame is working as intended. The left's biggest problem is that it's afraid to hurt the feelings of folks who need to have their feelings hurt. Let them experience introspection for once
