Three years ago today, @ailishsinclair.bsky.social shared a post by @drdoylesays.bsky.social. My #TraumaRecovery has never been the same since. In addition to all of the books I read to learn, coping skills I use, therapy sessions I go to, etc., Dr. Doyle’s posts are a cornerstone to my recovery!
So proud of myself I’m holding back tears (which means I’ll probably cry soon). I made chicken soup from scratch for the first time today, with a chicken I roasted yesterday, and that was only my second roasted chicken! This soup is so delicious! #cooking #chickensoup

I've often said: I'd rather write an entire book, any day, than a 1000 word pitch for a book. The books that sound sexy & marketable as a pitch are just the kind I don't want to write. I'm not writing a book because I know what it's about, or how it ends. I'm writing it precisely to find that out.
