Simpsons movie! Prev. Director on The Great North and Titmouse. WB Velma, Little Ellen, Apple and Onion, DisneyTV, Disenchantment, Futurama, Simpsons. I like drawing pirates and feelings.

Every once in a while I recall the showrunner I worked for who said shit about cowboy bebop, mind this wasn’t 20 years ago and he wasn’t old. I disagreed with almost everything that fell out of his mouth. 💨

I’d like to see a lot more mainstream tv and movie female leads and romances written by women or at least with more empathy. Lately I keep seeing people counter the looksmaxxing dudes with “women actually want Roger Rabbit” etc, and yes, but also… that movie is repeatedly a male fantasy? 🧵

Hey yall, ai scam emails are getting clever. there are scams now where they pretend to be a publisher interested in you/your book, and because ai can read your book and draft an email, it feels legit. But it’s just a grift. Stay vigilant! I got one about my old Japan book and my red flag went up.

My friend’s beloved cuddly cat died and I tried to reply on fb and fb prompted me to use ai to draft my response. Fucking no. I don’t want to use aito comfort my friend! Fuck off! (Ps I took them stuff in person which is literally the opposite of an ai condolence)

I just want to be clear that most people working in animation and likely entertainment in general, take whatever jobs they are able to get. Especially right now. There literally is no studio that I’m aware of that is magically morally great. Even Indy studios.

I currently work on Fox lot. I have friends in costume, chat w construction etc. Most of Hollywood is not rich. In animation + writing also, a ton of people are out of work, leaving the state. People can’t afford housing. I’m currently ok but have wondered multiple times whether I’ll have to leave.

People think "Hollywood" is rich and famous. The reality? Film and TV is a national industry. It's a blue collar industry. And it is an industry free fall. My latest for @newrepublic.com on how the Paramount merger would crush blue collar workers who can not afford it newrepublic.com/article/2136...

Well, the resist is… resisting coming off fml. It rubs off kinda, but my fingers are sore now from rubbing. Duct tape helps grab it some but how am I’m going to get it out of the crevices, preferably without removing the primer?

After my parents were visiting set for the first time, I asked my dad what he thought. He said “I didnt realize, it’s like you’re building a house, and once an hour good looking people run in and put on a play for five minutes. Then they leave and you go back to construction.”

I think the hardmode what film have you seen more than 6 times is kinda silly to me because I watch LOTS of films more than 6 times? Do normal people not do that? Like I can’t fit them all in this post. But I suppose I’ll post this one. It’s Magnetic Rose. Imho one of the most masterful films.

Animation folks that are looking for work currently, or in the next few weeks, I have a lead on an Adult Animation/Action/Superhero show staffing up soon: BG Layout - mid level Blender knowledge needed Prop 2d FX Char Design Feel free to drop portfolio links below, and I will send them along to AD

Primed it this morning… then this evening put masking fluid on this and then spray painted it black. We’ll find out later if the masking worked 👀👀👀 sorry for blurry photo, can’t be bothered.
