Better idea: instead of bandaids, put your whole ass & balls behind Medicare For All & decouple health insurance from unions. Huge reason production has left US is that every other country provides health care for its workers, making movies & shows wildly cheaper.

Wanted to make could get the okay to say anything, but I actually worked on this short as a background painter. SL was my one and only job in animation (I've been unlucky since 😭). It's a shame that this never released cuz it's one of the proudest projects I ever worked on. Maybe someday...

‘Spirit Link’ creator André LaMilza reveals the short was left out of Cartoon Network’s ‘Cartoon Cartoons’ program. LaMilza says he spent 6 years trying to find out why, but was repeatedly ghosted and later learned the short was never planned to air alongside the others.

The Rise of the TMNT artbook is one of the most comprehensive art books I've ever seen. It goes through the creators entire theory of design for the show. It doesn't just shot you the art. This includes guides and even several pages of frame by frame animation. I only wish the art was bigger.

I'm seeing a lot of critiques of Hasan and of twitch streaming broadly as very dismissive. And this reminds me of how people talked about podcasts up until 2024. I bet by 28 or maybe 2030 twitch streamers could be shaping the culture as the millions of young ppl who watch age into adulthood.

I thought people were using "y'all" to be all gender inclusive? I remember words like folks and y'all were suggested instead of gendered terms like "hey guys." Even tho I still uses "guys" and "dude" as a-gendered terms.

So a special government employee working for the Pentagon is putting out a large database tracking private citizens and their political affiliations. This should be a massive scandal.

This is what they are doing instead of making actual art or even doing some “useful” with AI. Just chuds all the way down. I don’t want my worked scraped but I can’t stop it. But it just makes ppl hate AI more which is a win. However Id love for one them to tell me to my face irl they stole my shit

i don't have time to write about this but it'd be interesting to read if someone can spend some time thinking about this particular facet of AI/tech people i'm happy to look through my screenshots or something to try to provide material to reflect on; i'm just overcommitted on other writing already
