Some ppl still believe this site is somehow centered on art. Contrary to what you might believe, there are many others here who dgaf about art, they're just here to discuss other topics. As much as we wish it could be solely for art, it isn't. You can't expect them to see rps they don't care about

I kinda want to know how some randos who don't even follow me find my posts within 3secs after posting when I don't even type anything searchable(?). As far as I'm aware I'm only on those petty blocklists made by unhinged individuals. How do I know they're not a bot for me to block

Just got advertised a YouTube video of someone saying they can tell you how to ask Ai to tell you what and how you should be asking Ai to help you write your novel. If you need robot help to ask for the robot help to write your novel, I think maybe you don’t want to write a novel?

People who say the Only Posts feed was already an option... I have it pinned but I don't use it bc a lot of times it omits even normal posts from other people including those with links. So no I definitely wouldn't say it's a great replacement for hiding reposts.

I see people panicking over not seeing art shares and I just want to say that I think shaming people on how they curate their TL isn't great. It's one thing to encourage sharing but it's another to be in a tizzy at how other people define their online experience in a way you don't like

v1.130 is live! Want to follow someone for their posts but not their reposts? Now you can — turn on "Hide reposts in feeds" for any account you follow.

A screenshot demonstrating how to hide reposts from an individual user: Go to their profile, tap the three-dot icon at top right, and select "Hide reposts in feeds" from the drop-down menu.

Also: You do realize that before this feature was finally released, many people simply chose to hide ALL reposts from their following feed, because that feature has existed for years. I think we will actually see some artists get more reach now that people have more granular control over this.
