Our president just told us he is functionally illiterate. It gives me no joy to say that. But, to say that Dems "made up" the word "affordability," which has existed in modern English since the 1910s (rooted in 1600s) because HE just learned it at age 80 and is embarrassed is just sad.
A massive part of the $1.15 TRILLION National Defense fund is rebranding. Yup, instead of affordable food, housing, Medicare, FEMA, schools, etc., the DOD has to go through and rebrand everything that says "Dept of Defense" to "Department of War." Huge priority, right? Fuck 'em all to high hell. 🖕
I know Republicans get a good laugh sitting in the majority while Dems get blamed for not doing something that only the majority can do......

BTW, "nothing" was his word when the correct one was "anything." My perspective: Young, Black and female fresh out if grad school, yet at age 55, this WM was trying to get where I already was at age 23. So, no, I wasn't offended. Why would I be. He was mad I wasn't, though. And asked if I was. No.

I was like cool, "I will sign your withdrawal form and you can be on your merry way." I was not going to argue ignorance.
Point made by a caller: "I'm from NY and when I go to visit KY, they tell me to slow down." I'm from CT and I can't tell you how many times whether it was when I was in TN or SC, ppl have told me to slow down when I speak. Not gonna lie, we do speak VERY fast. Anyone else have this experience?

There is no reverence, sanity, solemnity, or decorum in this vile regime.
On AOC: When you come from tri-state NY/CT/NJ you have a flat east coast accent. When you go south (grad school and lived in SC for yrs) it's easy to pick up rhythm of speech. I came home and mom heard a hint. After a week, lost it. Like my mom lost her twang when she moved to CT at age 10 from SC.
Has even read The Odessy? Did anyone even ask him THAT question because I promise you he hasn't. People just assume that because he's rich he's smart and he's speaking with authority. Y'all he's just talking... Like James Brown said, "talking loud and saying nothing!"
