I just saw the videos of today’s Israeli attack on Gaza (at least 13 killed), with bodies that are unrecognizable. Either their bodies are never found, or what is found are just fragments. Genocide
The whole point of the Bill of Rights is to protect the only true minority - the individual. It limits the governments power to harm the individual. The whole constitution is designed to limit the governments power.
In retrospect, one of the funniest things about growing up in Central Texas in the mid-90s was folks finding out Shania Twain is Canadian. It never got old. You have this woman utterly dominating country music. Ubiquitous in the South. And convos would be like: "Wait, she's Canadian? Holy shit."
Don't forget to be really sad in 2 days for Mitch McConnell.
Hopefully corporate Dems and AIPAC Dems will have to reevaluate their priorities. Or find new careers.

I try not to let my anger over what Israel have done to Palestine get to me (I know I'm privileged to be able to do so) but reading about war crimes and genocide and the denial of medical aid to children in this book. It brings it back. I was raised believing America and Britain fought nazis.
Bezalel Smotrich tells a settler conference that “Israel has no interest in joining the campaign . . . a confined campaign between Iran and the United States, is the correct [situation] and best for us [Israel].” In layman language, let’s sit and watch Americans die and pay for our war.
My books will be on my shelves where they belong. A few friends used to laugh at me for keeping what they called obsolete things like vinyl records and old books. They all agree it was a good idea now.
She has a point. Simply, the hypocrisy of these two morally impaired old, white men is appalling. They should both be in prison for their illegal actions. Period.
