When someone asks me why I went with GDScript instead of C++ or C# in Godot (which I'm far more used to).
Adding new weapons to my multiplayer top down city arena game. This is a spinning blade the bounces off walls. Can't decide it it should bounce off cars as well or damage them. What do you think? #indiegame #gamedev #solodev #godot
Paint the town red in Chrome Carnage! This game is going to be such a fun bloody chaotic mess, I can't wait for you all to play it! #indiegame #gamedev #solodev #godot
Huzzah! Just in time for the weekend! Steam Controller!
The AI is getting really good at driving in tight spaces. Where ever you go it'll hunt you down! #indiegame #indiedev #gamedev
You know what they say about going into dark alleys alone... You might get a shotgun blast to the face! #gamedev #indiegame #godot
Holy shit. I can't ever find anything in the Steamworks developer portal. #indiegamedev #steam
If you're worried about your Godot game being stolen there's two fantastic add-ons. GDMaim will butcher your gdscript code on export so it's an unreadable mess. Godot-secure will patch you a custom build that won't work with common decompilers or key extractors. That alone 10xs the effort needed
This is seriously how you make a UI in #godotengine
Holy foxy packets batman! ๐ฆ netfox netcode for #GodotEngine got a massive update. - networked physics - lag simulation - rollback aware NPCs - rollback aware visibility - lower data transfers - network rng - network logger #gamedev
The top down city photography from Navid Baraty has been a fantastic reference for Chrome Carnage. https://www.navidbaraty.com/hidden-city #indiegame #indiedev #gamedev

Debugging online multiplayer... Should I include couch split screen?! #ScreenshotSaturday #GameDev #IndieGame
I didn't teach it to do that! Sometimes these playtest bots scare me - Humanity is definitely doomed. #indiegame #indiedev #gamedev #FeatureFriday
It's always fun watching the bots playtest They have much to learn about rocket launchers and safe distances lol #indiegame #indiedev #gamedev #DevDiary
Making sure exploding car pile ups are satisfactory. A little delay makes them domino nicely Might tone down that force though lol #indiegame #indiedev #gamedev #FridayFeeling
Will #GodotEngine 4.6 be the version that gets the most requested physics feature? The PR is ready, diligently kept up to date by its author. It's been tested rigorously I think it's finally time! #godot
Procedural cities and level creation. It ain't just #Battlefield6 using #GodotEngine as a Map Editor #indiegame #gaming
Stress testing traffic / pedestrian placement. Need to get better at seamlessly filling the city as you move quickly. #indiegame #gamedev #indiedev
This is my game, Chrome Carnage. A love letter to 90s top down chaos. #indiegame #gamedev #indiedev #retrodev

Spent the last couple of weeks beating #GodotEngine into submission so I could do proper networked physics. Worth it so a car can get rocket-punched, slam into a building, and burn like my eyes after a 1 am coding spree.
