Production Director at Obsidian. My opinions are my own. Pentiment, Avowed, The Outer Worlds, Deadfire, and Tyranny. I'm also making Net Gains a fishing roguelite! -> https://store.steampowered.com/app/4525980/Net_Gains_Demo/

Soojin is a brilliant and adaptable artist. Did you love the look of Pentiment? They were responsible for a ton of it. Out of the many, many ways they left their mark on that game, though, my favorites have to be the Landsknecht playing cards and story-time with Brother Sebhat.

I find strong producers view the work they need to do as a series of goals and NOT a series of actions. Often bad producers push bad process, culture, and rituals because they assume they know what's best. Below is snippet of a larger document that I share with producers that join my team.

There are a lot of roles in game dev where someone bad in a role can do damage, but a bad producer can be so unbelievably damaging that it truly would be better to have no one in the role at all. Just as good producers are force multipliers, bad producers are like throwing sand into a gearbox.

Updating me little intro post~ hi! ✨ I’m a producer working in games — worked on stuff like Celeste, Beast Breaker & currently at Heart Machine on POSSESSOR(S)! I helped organize the first videogame union in North America in 2021, I am addicted to coffee & I love to photograph flowers. 🖤
