The abundance of indie games is a testament and, in itself, a concrete redeeming quality of humans. The fact that this is a "problem" is an indictment of a system that sets up markets where said abundance works against itself. It's part of a crisis of overproduction, capitalism 101.

Mexican here: The purported motive of the Teotihuacán mass shooter ("this is a zone of gods, there shouldn't be tourists here") has no backing among our population. Mexicans are mostly indifferent to archaeological sites, or otherwise see them as a source of tourism revenue. 1/🧵

As a Mexican, I deeply empathize with the worry, anger, fear, and frustration people from Europe (and everywhere, tbh) have been feeling about Trump's policies not just this month but nigh on a damn decade at this point. I also think this current discourse is all wrong. (1/Thread, gets corny)
Day 2: the richest man in the world is exposed in fraganti committing CSA-related crimes. The images in question were posted on X, they were (or remain) on X's and/or xAI's servers. Minimal response is shuttering the site, raiding the offices, arrests. Anything else is the most grotesque impunity.
