As Chair, I’ll build a long-term financial plan to make Metro fare-free. I’ve fought for a world-class transit system my entire career because public transit should create opportunity for everyone.

One of the red states that isn't getting money is Utah, which is trying to double-track the Frontrunner and build other transit projects before the 2034 Winter Olympics. And honestly, it shouldn't be a red vs. blue states. The feds cannot adjudicate grants based on how a state voted.
