Moderna and Merck are developing a treatment using an mRNA-based cancer vaccine that is designed to be tailored to individual patients based on unique mutations within their tumors. One thing I will quibble with is that technologies are only inevitable if WE allow them to be. If we elect leaders with the courage to regulate, we can get the djinni back in the bottle. We used to have lead in our gas, unsanitary food supplies, and arsenic in our wallpaper, but we regulated safety.

This is a great idea! I'd never thought of it from a player's perspective that published adventures could be sources of inspiration for character choices, but of course they can... especially if the campaign you are in is in the same setting and you want to be part of, or an adversary to, a faction.

FRPG Player Tip: GMs aren’t the only ones who can use published adventures as inspiration. If you read adventures (whether just for fun or because you’re also a GM), maybe the story or setting of a particular adventure features cool details that are just what you need for your character backstory.
