That being said, I also don’t know of any asynchronous model that doesn’t have those (no pun intended) traits. 🤔 Arguably, life is asynchronous, so why can’t we make it both easy and simple in programming languages? Am I missing something?

I particularly love async Rust, but it's definitely complicated. It's a wonderful tool, but it demands deeper/systemic understanding of what is going on at a much higher level than any other feature of Rust, which means that I also commonly recommend avoiding it to folks that are newcomers to Rust.
