Lombardo on Trump: "When the press and media runs him down, they think about 'he's taking care of his billionaire friends.' But those billionaire friends provide jobs. And unless you take care of them, those jobs are absent."

There's no need to clip comments. Lombardo's record is making plenty of headlines on its own.

This evening, NSEA urged the Washoe County School District Board of Trustees to reject two proposed policy changes that would significantly weaken the ability of elected trustees to provide oversight, represent their constituents, and hold district administration accountable.

When someone asks a trustee for help, that trustee should have the ability to advocate for them. Trustees aren't elected to just observe district decisions. They're elected to ask questions, provide oversight, and advocate for their communities. These proposals make all 3 more difficult.

Dismantling the Department of Education is no different than Joe Lombardo giving Nevada students $2, forcing cuts across Nevada school districts. They're both rooted in the same belief: public education isn't worth investing in.

It's a shame cringe isn't a currency; we'd be rolling in new revenue for public education.

Yeah, well, $2 Joe Lombardo's estimate isn't worth much given his track record.

Just tried to vote in Arizona, and they wouldn’t let me because I didn’t show them my Olive Garden eClub Membership card

"That's a nice state you have there, Nevada. It'd be a shame if something happened to it..." It's not as catchy as "I'm Joe Lombardo," but it's just as telling. Joe’s friend and commanding officer could send more ICE thugs, but for now, he’s not because this is about politics, not border security.
