I think it’s very cool and normal that a few days of regular storms — not even hurricanes or superstorms — can shut down the state for days. I’m glad no one is changing our infrastructure laws or trying to fund better climate resiliency…

Fun fact: I used to babysit Bernie Wagenblast’s (the voice of the MTA) grandchildren. Her daughter, the mother of these children, still talks about these photos I sent her once.

Admittedly a huge failing of NJ state parks: virtually none of them are even close to being accessible by transit, despite all being accessible by car. Expanding our transit system to serve deserts like Sussex and Burlington would be useful in so many ways!

After nearly coming face to face with a black bear while tent camping in Sussex, I have learned it is illegal to ship, own, or carry bear spray in New Jersey.

The way is to ban any and all outside employment and wages. Creates a level playing field so anyone from a bartender to a lawyer can serve their state!

Severe flash flooding in Monmouth County. Normally a 45 minute drive took two hours. This isn't the shore. Flooding on many roadways. Too car-centric and too many parking lots and this is what you get.
